Well, as mentioned in the editorial, Bill is now busy in one of the world's troublespots so it has fallen on me to master this web site this time. The main problem, it seems to me, is trying to master FrontPage Express! As is common with Microsoft products these days, especially free ones, there is no manual. What is worse, the help file is pathetic. I am having to learn things by trial and error, mostly error. If you find a link out of place or something else wrong please let me know. Constructive criticism is welcome.
I have made one innovation this time. I am experimenting with the mode of making an offline copy of this journal. Hopefully it will speed things up for readers with 16/32 bit platforms. Bill's instructions are still available so take your pick and let me know what you feel about the new approach.
During the last month preparations have been made to move our web site onto a new server. We are now ready to do this. In fact all changes to the site are now being uploaded to the old and new server. As far as you the reader is concerned the move should be transparent. If, however, we experience some teething problems I apologise in advance and please let me know if you find something wrong so we can put it right as soon as possible.
