ICPUG SE Computer Club has been running for over twenty-six years and meets on Thursdays, twice a month, at the WI Hall, Lebanon Gardens, Biggin Hill, Kent, at 8pm. We are a friendly group catering for members with all levels of knowledge from absolute beginners to experienced programmers.
Visitors are welcome (the charge is £1 a night), and soft drinks and biscuits are usually available. The club magazine, up to 24 pages, is published every two months and is circulated free to members. It contains articles of general interest, details of future meetings, and a list of committee members and helpers etc. Each month we have one lecture night, or special presentation, dealing perhaps with the latest aspects of video editing or communications, or other pertinent topics concerning computing. The other night will be an open night when members are welcome to bring their own computers for advice or help on software or hardware problems from our team of experts. However, it is wise to ask in advance to make sure that the right person is there to help you. Broadband is available at the WI Hall for the use of members only and the latest anti-virus programs can be installed on members' machines.
