These instructions are for Internet Explorer. If you use another browser then use the appropriate commands to download and save a file to disk, rather than download and run. Save the files to a temporary folder.

Right Click HERE and choose 'Save Target As' to download the file: grub.exe (230 KB)

VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure the filename is enclosed in " " marks
i.e. Put "grub.exe" INCLUDING the " " in the Save Target As dialog box

Right Click HERE and choose 'Save Target As' to download the file: menu.lst (1 KB)

VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure the filename extension is .lst for list NOT .1st for first.

VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure the filename is enclosed in " " marks
i.e. Put "menu.lst" INCLUDING the " " in the Save Target As dialog box

Using Windows Explorer perform the following:

• Create a folder called boot on the C drive
• Create a folder called grub in the c:\boot folder just created
• Move the two files downloaded above into the c:\boot\grub folder just created

In DOS speak you should now have the files grub.exe and menu.lst in the c:\boot\grub folder
