Sun have finally released their Desktop Linux product, codenamed Mad Hatter. They have been working on it for a while. It includes the following packages:

• Gnome - Graphical User Interface
• Evolution - Outlook look-a-like
• Star Office - Sun's proprietary version of Open Office which is a Microsoft Office equivalent
• Mozilla - Web browser
• Gaim - Instant Messenger Client
• Real Player - Multimedia Player

Sun have priced it at $100. Availability and price in the UK is not known. Sun better not replace $ with £, or it will be too dear.
